My Favorite Music Video. #3

Jessie J's Price Tag is my favorite music video for this year. This was released last January 25, 2011. It is really good for the ears. I can not move on to this song. I keep on raping the replay button! The video has many messages. There are meanings behind the song. One of these says that it’s not about the money, it is about the mind control. You can not put a price on the life because money can not buy everything.

At first glance, the song has a noble message regarding the love of music winning over the love of money. Just basically sort of came up with the idea thinking about showing things that are larger than life, but do not really matter.

The video begins with a symbolic image, one that sums up the entire meaning of this piece: a teddy bear with one eye missing and a torn arm. I think it represented to an abused childhood and the loss of innocence. In other scenes, she portrayed as a ballerina in a music box, the type you have to wind-up before it starts dancing, and a puppet. Both symbolizes that everyone can be slaves, can be control by someone.

It’s sort of toy world with Jessie J bringing a fashion edge to it. It is about the unimportance of money and embracing individuality. It is about freedom because freedom is not something that anybody can be given. Freedom is something that people take and people are as free as they want to be. Lastly, it also says about music. Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions.
